The logistics of comfort
In RFT headlights, the diode is directed at a computer- designed reflector.
This makes the reflected light wider and closer than the lens.
This gives the roadside lighting a wider scope. This ensures better comfort for the driver.
Technology is also becoming a convenience for lighting upgrades. RFT reflectors are as shallow as halogen, so no structural modification is not required.
